TO FORM A SENTENCE IN ENGLISH YOU MUST KNOW WHAT IS THE FORMULA TO THE SENTENCE AND WHAT ELEMENTS ARE USED IN THAT SENTENCE TO BUILD SENTENCES:
1. Subject
A subject is the person or thing performing the action in a sentence.
Examples:
John plays football.
The cat is sleeping.
💡 The subject usually comes before the verb in a sentence.
2. Verb
A verb expresses an action or a state of being.
Examples:
She runs every morning.
They are happy.
💡 Verbs are important because they tell us what the subject is doing.
3. Object
The object receives the action of the verb.
Examples:
She reads a book.
He bought a car.
💡 The object usually comes after the verb in a sentence.
4. Adjective
An adjective describes a noun or pronoun.
Examples:
She has beautiful eyes.
The tall boy won the race.
💡 Adjectives make your sentences more descriptive and interesting.
5. Adverb
An adverb describes a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
Examples:
He speaks fluently.
She runs very fast.
💡 Many adverbs end in -ly, but not all.
6. Conjunction
A conjunction connects words, phrases, or clauses.
Examples:
I like tea and coffee.
She was late because of the traffic.
💡 Common conjunctions include and, but, because, or, so, yet, although.
7. Pronoun
A pronoun replaces a noun to avoid repetition.
Examples:

8. Preposition
A preposition shows the relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and another word in the sentence.
